Athirappilly

The largest waterfalls of Kerala and one among the highest in India is the beautiful Athirappilly. It is popular among both local and International tourists as the huge falls is wonder in itself. Set in the dense forests of Chalakudy, the journey to Athirappilly is as beautiful as the waterfalls. It is a highly protected area with rich flora and fauna which adds to the serenity of the waterfalls.

Often difficult routes lead to amazing destinations. Here, in case of Athirapilly Waterfalls, we view the breath-taking waterfalls after a lovely drive through scenic forest and plantations. The largest waterfall of Kerala is popular destination among Indians, as scenes and songs from several Indian movies have been filmed here.

Surrounded by dense forest, the gushing waters of Athirapilly is a treat to our auditory senses, which the sound of birds and Nature at its best. The waterfalls can be explored further for adventure lovers, with a short trek that takes to the base of the waterfalls.
